Olive and Olive Oil Themed Event by Altınoluk Vocational School Graduate and External Stakeholder İpek Somer

İpek Somer, a graduate of the Altınoluk Vocational School Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program and an external stakeholder as the operator of Adatepe Zeus Boutique Olive Oil, is organizing an important event on October 4–5, 2025, as part of the “Pearl of the North Aegean: Olive and Olive Oil Autumn Festival.” The event, to be held at Adatepe Zeus Garden, will feature women producers’ stands, boutique olive oil production, workshops, and panels. The program includes the “Conversations on Olive and Tourism” panel with Prof. Dr. Sabriye Çelik Uğuz and female entrepreneur Hatice Esra Öztürk, as well as presentations by “Chef Fok” Nurdan Çakır Tezgin.

This meaningful event, hosted by our graduate İpek Somer, will highlight the olive culture of the region, women’s entrepreneurship, and the tourism potential of the area, making a significant contribution to local development. Students of the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Program are also invited to the festival, where they will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience from experts in the field.
